So here is a website started by a singer, Hilary Weeks. She did an experiment to see how many negative thoughts she typically has in a week. Using a little clicker, she counted each negative thought. After that first week, she felt horrible. Then she thought about reversing the experiment to only positive thoughts and things she was grateful for.
I thought maybe instead of clicking a little clicker to count the happy thoughts, I would try to be active about my thoughts. Every time I click the mouse at my computer to smile or think, "Should I be talking with my kids right now, instead?"
